My computer hibernated with a multisession dvd in the drive. When I woke her up, she says the disk is corrupt.

The title really says it all. I was copying old files onto a multisession dvd. I started a transfer that was taking a long time (~25 minutes), then left to do some chores.

When I returned, I started the computer. It did the 'restoring windows' bit, and I logged on. There was much drive activity and the window I had open with the dvd contents closed.

I attempted to open the disk, and windows says 'd:\ is not accessible. The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable.

I am attempting forensic recovery of the dvd. Fortunately the data is not critical.

I am open to suggestions.
