For a few days now, my old Acer system has been experiencing the 'Unexpected shutdown' error whenever I try to turn off my PC via Start | Shut Down.
I have been unable to find anything in my system that would cause such an error, but in all fairness I also don't know exactly what I'm looking for. Fortunately, in another 'unexpected shutdown' topic, someone mentioned navigating to C:\Windows\Minidump, and taking the dump file.
I tried viewing it in Notepad++, but got nothing but a ton of gobbledegook (obviously, it's mostly binary). For others, this file has led to people figuring out the cause of this issue. Since it seems I lack the tools to do this, I'm posting the file here, and deferring to the community for interpretation.
tl;dr - halp plz?
