No matter what I type into the search box in the start menu, windows 7 search always returns "No items match your search." This happens even with things that I know for certain exist. (e.g. cmd)
FWIW I once uninstalled windows search because I didn't think I would use it, but then I realized that this removes ALL search functions and not just the realtime search (which didn't happen in windows XP.) When I reinstalled it, this started happening. No matter what I try (e.g. uninstalling and reinstalling again) this still happens.
