No logon servers available.

Background: I work for a smaller company that was acquired by a larger company. We still run on our own domain, while the main location runs its own.

Recently, we've been receiving Windows 7 PCs from the main office to replace some of our older ones. They do a standard image/setup at the main office before mailing them out to us. Setting them up for our local domain has been pretty easy, for the most part. All I have to do is log in to the machines' local admin account and add them to our domain, and from there I can log in using my domain admin account.

However, one computer is giving me a problem. I can't log on to the computer - even using the local admin that was provided. Every time I try, I get the error message "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request." The main office suggested I try resetting the admin password with an emergency repair disc; I did that, but it didn't resolve the problem.

This is particularly frustrating since I can't even work on it remotely (let alone interactively) if it's not on our domain. If I could manage to log in with even a regular account, I might be able to add it to our domain.
