I hope somebody can help.
I have a single, Windows 7 test Pc setup on my SBS 2003 server network. The PC conforms to all specs required for running Windows 7.
My problem is that each Monday when I come into the office all my shortcuts that point to files on the network server have disappeared.
I suspect that Windows 7 is deleting the shortcut due to a break in the network link but is this a option that can be turned off ?
By the way the shortcuts are not in the recycle bin.
To overcome the problem I have placed a copy of each shortcut in a separate folder on the desktop and each Monday morning i copy them back to the desktop.
I have searched through the forums but I can't find anybody else reporting this error.
