Whenever I try to access any WebDav folder from a Windows 7 PC something very odd occurs and I am not finding much info on the web about it. I am hoping to get some help here. Here's what happens:
When accessing a WebDav folder through a mapped drive I get a prompt for the username and password and then after clicking OK I get an error message stating:
"\\server\folder is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
The file cannot be accessed by the system."
I click OK and then try to access the share again and it opens with no issues. However, once I reboot or restart the WebClient service it starts all over again.
All of our PCs at my company are experiencing this.
The server is Windows 2008 r2 running IIS 7.0.
Any thoughts?
