To quote your answer to repair this via your instructions, am I supposed to also copy and past "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00" into the Registry also? And where do I paste all of the stuff to? It's not very clear. Am I supposed to find each of these folders and paste in what's supposed to be in that folder? For example. Do I find HKey _classes_root, etc. and then paste the stuff in there. Do I do them all individually or do I just dump the whole thing in the HKEY Classes folders? Again, am I also supposed to include "windows registry Editor Version 5?
My issue is that when I right click to make a new folder the only choice I have is "briefcase". I can't even find briefcase on the computer! I did a system restore with no results.
Please provide me with more detailed instructions on your method to correct this problem. Do you really know if it works?

3. After pasting the above commands, please clickFile on the menu and click Save.
4. Type inNewFolder.reg as the file name, select to save the file on the Desktop. ClickSave.
5. Go to the Desktop, and double clickNewFolder.reg. A dialog box will pop-up saying "Are you sure you want to add the information in fix.reg to the registry?". ClickYes to confirm.
Note: Administrative privileges are required to perform the above steps. Please click "Continue" when the User Account Control dialog-box appears.
