Windows Size and Position Changes When Entering Sleep Mode

I use NEC monitor with Windows7 (x64) and HDMI connection to standard Intel 4600 adapter.

I noticed that whenever the monitor enter sleep mode or whenever I switch input on the monitor, all screen are resized to smaller size and align to the top left corner of the screen. In other words, I have to resize them again to the proper working size and location. It's almost as if the HDMI loses sync or connection with the PC and then Windows resets to different resolution.

Does anyone have any confirmed and validated solution ?
