Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error & Windows Search problem - Windows 7

My Windows version:

Windows 7 Home Premium K (Korean) Service Pack 1

When I open a mkv (matroska) file, or move a mkv file from C Drive to D Drive (or vice versa), the following happens:

When either as soon as I open the file, or at the end of the process of moving the file from one drive to another, the following error message window pops up (this does not happen with any other media files such as avi, mp4 etc):

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

This application has request the Runtime to terminate it in an unsual way.  Please contact the application's support team for more information."

The message does not specify which application (e.g. explorer.exe) or process has requested this termination, so I just pressed ok.
After that, another error message pops up saying

"Windows Search has stopped working.
Additional information on this problem is being gathered.  This could take a few minutes"

After few seconds, this error message window automatically closes and Windows taskbar disappears for few seconds and new message window pops up:

"Windows Search is being restarted"

And Windows taskbar appears again.

I have scanned the pc for viruses & spyware several times already, but found nothing.

Currently, I use the following Visual C++ Programs:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64) v8.0.59192
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (x64) v9.0.30729.17
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (x64) v9.0.30729.6161
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (x86) v9.0.30729.17
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (x86) v9.0.30729.6161
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x64) v10.0.40219
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86) v10.0.40219

Help to get this problem solved would be most appreciated.
