Create Windows Service form jar/exe

I Need to create a windows service for a JAR file (Which can be converted to EXE as well). I used sc create , it did create the service but couldnt get that started (error 1053). I looked up online, there are bunch of 3rd party softwares but not free. I wander if there is any solution from Microsoft to create a serice for exe file or using jar in java environmet with Eclipse IDE. Thanks.
