Not sure if this is the most proper forum, the other choice being Performance, but oh well. I am having a problem that just appeared a few days ago where my Windows 7 Pro boots about halfway, with the background coming up and a couple startup apps start
normally, but then the process stops. Roughly half the services start, and the system wedges in place, requiring a restart. Sometimes it's so bad that a hard power-off is required.
I am severely disabled due to Lou Gehrig's Disease and absolutely require that the system start properly and bring up my eyegaze control software. Anything less is a critical error. Nevertheless, prior to medical retirement, I was a career IT professional for
20 years, running UNIX, Linux, PC and Mac mixed shops and can converse in jargon.
I think these might be the errors at the basis of my problem, although Windows Event Viewer messages are notoriously cryptic without a manual. The event error messages are below:
The error is about the particular app (Lifemate):

The app normally works perfect on my Win 7-32 and I know it also works in 64.
Right before I get a Kernel-PNP warning and after I get two User Profile Service warnings involving my Avast antivirus then two Service Control Manager errors. Various other entries occur until the computer was restarted, which came up normally and successfully.
The event logged when the computer crashed and the problem began is this:
