I implemented a GPP that inadvertantly changed the Power Management feature "When I close the lid" to "Do Nothing". Some countries in my company want to have laptop computers hibernate when the lid is closed, so I want to give administrators in those countries a fast way of re-enabling this features, since it was my policy preference that changed it.
I would like to use psexec.exe to run powercfg.exe aimed at a targeted list of PCs. I am very familiar with using psexec, but I am looking for some help with the correct powercfg.exe command string to do what I want. If anyone knows the command string to change the "When I close the lid" setting to "Hibernate" (both while plugged in and on battery), I would appreciate greatly your sharing it with me.
FYI - All target PCs are Windows 7 Enterprise with SP1 and hibernation is already enabled.
Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter.
