Hi everyone !
i'm using Windows 7 pro sp1 x64
i'm backing up my computer with this command line i launch every time i need to back up my computer :
(btw : the destination is a RDX external usb 3.0 drive (e:) NTFS formatted)
______
wbadmin start backup -backupTarget:e: -allcritical -include:"c:\base user",c:\agipa-lb,c:\apisoft,C:\Users\user\Documents,C:\Users\user\Pictures,C:\Users\user\Desktop,C:\Users\user\Favorites,C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook -quiet
_______
the back up runs ok, no error.
now i'd like to restore one file, and i cannot attach the .vhd file !
when i right-click the .vhd file, choose ATTACH, it says : the file cannot be attached, file type not recognized !
well, this is quite annoying !!!!
now i'd like to know if there's a workaround or another tool that might allow me to browse the vhd file ?
right now, i'm trying to copy the vhd file to a fixed disk to try to attach it,. I don't know why, but i've got that strange feeling it won't work .....
wait and see ...
thanks for all your replies and tips :)
edit : ok the vhd file was successfully copied to a fixed NTFS HDD, and i still cannot attach the vhd file, so i'm still unable to access in any way the file (the backup !)
