I have a PC running Windows 7 Pro 64bit, everytime anybody tries to shut the PC down or reboot it, it stalls at Configuring Windows prior to shutting down. If we try to install any updates it fails with Error 80080005.
The PC has been scanned and there are no virus\malware or Trojan threats on the PC, I have tried several suggestion of remedying the problem including the deletion of all files in c:\windows\softwaredistribution but still the problem persists.
Does anybody have any advice?
