I have a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit machine. Quad core, 16 gigs of ram. Not a bad machine. It supports three monitors on two video cards. I recently replaced one monitor with a bigger monitor. This is on the video card that supports only one monitor. The other
two monitors are supported on the other video card. The problem started when I swapped out 4 gigs of ram and put in 16 gigs, plus replacing the smaller monitor with the bigger one, and cleaning up the machine by removing old applications and files that I don't
use anymore. At first, the new monitor was 'slow'. Videos shown on that monitor were choppy. So I replaced the analog cable on that monitor with a digital one. After doing so and restarting the machine, only this monitor came up. The computer didn't even recognize
the other monitors. Also, I couldn't connect to the Internet. So I shut down and used the old analog cable. The other screens were recognized again, but now Internet is slow. I ran my Norton antivirus to see if that could be the problem, and nothing came up.
I'm totally at a loss. Could someone please make a suggestion? Thanks, Ed
