What is WmiPrvCv.exe and why is it slowing down my laptop so much??

I've located it in my AMD\lsass folder and it's only recently I've noticed it slows down the laptop if terminated.
I also think it's what is also making the laptop very hot at the bottom

Can anyone shed light on this??
