I'm not sure which version of Windows 8 it is, probably a home version of some sort. What I want to do is access a share on it from a Windows 7 OS.
I've disabled simple file sharing under folder options.
Both OS's have the same username and password.
I used net share to share a resource on the Win8 and it shows in the net share list.
When I try to view resources from a Win7 using net view \\win8name, I instantly get access denied.
What else do I need to change/check?
