Windows Search/Gatherer - Event 3036, (HRESULT 0x80040d07)

Hi folks, trying to index a SAN network drive location after installing the Desktop Search Add-in on Windows 7 64-bit, getting the following Event ID error from the Gatherer:

Does anybody know what this issue is? I would like to index the network location (Its not not a windows server)

I would also like to know how to set this drive to be indexed automatically by group policy?
