Shutdown confirmation "Are you sure you want to shut down" - possible?

Hi folks,

we have complaints from users accidentally shutting down their windows 7 PCs (just migrated off XP).

Let me be clear -> The hit start -> (accidentally) click shutdown, and are not receiving a confirmation prompt.

what I would like to understand from Mirosoft and the resident experts here, is if there is any way to force a "Are you sure you want to shut down/log off" style message as was present in windows XP?

I am aware of the Shutdown Tracker, but supplying reasons for shutting down a laptop is clunky and not user friendly.

I do not wish to use a 3rd party tool if possible.

Please help with solutions or suggestions to this (surely common?) issue.
