Why do I have so many Users and Groups (RDN) on my computer?

I have had trouble viewing certain documents. I've been told I don't have permission. When I checked the Users, I find a list of Users and Groups that I'm unaware of. My computer should only be used by myself and my daughter. How do I know which Users to keep, and which to get rid of? How do I delete unwanted users? I do belong to a group. My computer was given to me by my former employer. Does he still have access to my files?

These are the additional users and Groups listed on my computer...

Some of which have access to my folders, others do not. Is this something that should concern me?
