Hello,
I'm trying to install an application and i get the following error"
"The windows installer service counld not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows installer in not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance". When I try to start Windows installer service manually, i get the following error:
"The Windows Installer service terminated with the following error:
An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist."
I tried the following:
1. sfc /scannow (no problems found)
2. Run microsoft fixit. It told me that "the problem has been fixed" but it didn't
3. system restore
Could you please help me to avoid windows re-installation?
