Error on logging onto my Windows 8.1 machine : the task you are trying to do can't be completed because remote desktop services is currently busy

I have Windows 8.1 64 Bit Dell Laptop. When i try to enter the password key to log in to the machine i get this error message : 

The task you are trying to do can't be completed because remote desktop services is currently busy. Please try again in a few minutes. Other users should still be able to log on.

I am unable to log into the machine.
