Hi All,
Hopefully someone can help with this one as it is driving me crazy.
We have recently finished a deployment of Windows 7 64bit enterprise and enabled Folder Redirection for the Documents, Favourites and Desktop folders.
In group policy we have configured the following settings:
At the machine level:
Configure Background Sync - Enabled (inteval and variance set to 60min)
Event logging level - 3
Synchronize all offline files before logging off - Enabled
Synchronize all offline files when logging on - Enabled
At the user level
Do not automatically make redirected folders available offline - Disabled
Prevent use of Offline Files folder - Disabled
Prohibit user configuration of Offline Files - Enabled
Remove 'Make Available Offline' - Enabled
All 3 folders are redirecting to server shares that reside on Windows Server 2003 file servers.
The problem we are seeing is that some users will save a file into their Documents folder on one PC, log off, log on to a different PC and the file won't be in their Documents folder. We don't see the problem with desktop of favourites folder.
