Have 4 machines configured in a wired network. This system (all using win7 ultimate) has been running for nearly three years w/o problem. Several days ago system access was denied (all 4 machines) w/ message "Access denied - you don't have permission...
Since that initial 'out of the blue' message, two of the machines have returned (on their own!) to normal operation within the network. The other two are still in a 'permission denied' state. All 4 machines receive internet and seem otherwise OK. Have tried using wireless connection which was effective on one machine only.
At a loss to understand cause of this. Would appreciate any suggestions.
