I have a lot of Windows 7 Pro x86 computers the users have reported Windows Explorer crashing after just leaving the application open on there desktop. It seems the users are from two vlan and all other vlan have not reported this problem. I have scanned the computer for virus and malware. I have tried coping the explorer.exe and placing it "c:\windows\system32" I have applied Hotfix Kb2515325 and Kb2638018. Here is a copy of the latest error:

Faulting application name: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d6727a7
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x04c2f8a8
Faulting process id: 0x18a4
Faulting application start time: 0x01cf7aa32b9db515
Faulting application path: C:\Windows\explorer.exe
Faulting module path: unknown
Report Id: d41548fd-e696-11e3-9469-7446a0ada589

This may seem crazy but I removed the computer physically from its current vlan to another vlan and the computer worked fine for the 6.5 hours that I did this test. I moved the computer back to its original vlan and error strikes again 2-10 minutes. My network administrator says its a machine problem and at this point I don't believe it is. This is now happening to 6 computers and the number seems to be growing.  This is happening to brand new machines and machine that have been on the network for two years now. This is a domain environment with server 2008 R2 standard edition. Can someone please help me find a solution or another test I have not done yet.
