I have looked at various solutions on the net, but to no avail. I was wondering whether one of the experts on here might be able to give me a hand?
I’ve recently put a new hard drive into my PC and I took the opportunity to reinstall windows 7. Ever since then my PC has been repeatedly crashing – I would say on average every 40 minutes either with the BSOD or just turning black and restarting. It can crash within 3 minutes of turning it on, or occasionally run fine for 3 hours - crashing doesn’t seem to be related to heat/what I am doing on the PC.
I had a similar problem on the same laptop with a previous hard drive before – however it went away after a few months. I have no idea what cause it to stop happening, but it makes me think the problem can be fixed! I'm pretty sure the hard drive is fine,
and my graphics card driver is up to date.
Can someone please help? I’m not very tech literate so if there was a way I could upload details of the crash (how?), maybe someone could help interpret them?
