error-583

I cloned my 320 GB HDD to a 480 GB SSD and cannot access windows update.

I get the message:   error-583<JET_errSectorSizeNotSupported

I tried every option from MS forums, including this forum here and the MS troubleshooter that won't even start.

And Mr.Fixit didn't even help.

The entire message from cmd was:

"The operation terminated with error-583<JET_errSectorSizeNotSupported. The physical sector size reported by the disk subsystem, is unsupported by ESE for a specific file type."

I am very anxious to update my OS to protect it. Please help.
