I am using two identical RFID readers connected to a WinCE 7 based computer via USB. Both device ID's are the same and I cannot determine which is which after a reboot because the USB ports enumerate randomly to a port number.
I am unable to change the device Id within one of the readers, if I could I would know which reader I'm communicating with.
is there a device I can put in line with a USB device that I can positively identify and therefore know which of the two identical devices I port is connected to?
thanks... Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask, but I saw a few USB related questions and thought someone may have had a similar question.
