Hi,
I have a machine, which is currently logging on the user as a system profile, and also my local admin account.
I have taken the steps to remove the customers local profile from the machine and also remove the profile entry from the registry profile list.
I have tried to log the customer back in, which it then creates a folder with their name, but then still logs them in under the system profile. I have checked the profile under the user profile area, and noticed that the default profile has a ? instead of a size.
Am I able to copy a default profile from another windows 7 machine and paste it onto the machine that is currently not working correctly? If I do this will I need to make changes to the registry to allow it to work?
When I have logged onto the machine this morning to take a look, both the temp profile which is logging in, and the default user profile have IIS.apppool at the end of their profile names?
Is there anything I can do to get this back to working again, as the customer is in bangalore and I am in the UK, so I am limited to remote supporting them?
Any help, would be very appreciated.
