I recently installed IIS software on my windows 7 machine under my user that I created during the installation process. I have checked, and this user does belong the group Administrators, however I cannot save files to the c:/inetpub/wwwroot/ folder. What I have been having to do is save my files to another location and then copy them into the folder. This is a major hassle, so I tried changing the permissions and I get an error saying I need administrative privileges in order to change them. This is where my dilemma is, my user is a member of the Administrators group. Any suggestions?
