I'm posting this in Windows 7 Security as well. Does Microsoft allow FixIt to be run in Safe Mode, or allow it to be run on a hard drive connected by an external hard drive enclosure? The issue behind this is a workstation that has been
compromised by malware. Forefront claims that the drive is now clean, but I wanted to run the recommended post clean up steps listed here in Safe Mode.
