Hi there,
we're having an issue on 1 Windows 7 PC that won't recognize whatever USB flash drive we put it. It does show under disk management and device manager. It will either be 0 bytes/no media/no drive letter or it will be 0 bytes/no media/but with a drive letter.
Tried many solutions on the web already but doesn't seem to help. Note these drives *ALL* work fine on other Win7 PC's here. There's no HP File Sanitizer (it is a HP machine tho'), it's not a Lenovo U3 stick and I have removed lower/upper filter drivers from USBSTOR.sys' GUID entry.
Any ideas on what it might be? sfc /scannow detects no errors either btw. I'm guessing it's something with the registry. Also tried removing trend micro (wfbs 9 - already had the issue when it was still on 8 btw), makes no differences either (also in the settings there's no USB disabled at all in Trend).
TIA
