I have seen the thread with the fix that says to go to local printers: Group policy - Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Printers - Allow print spooler to accept client connections, I'm sure this is part of the fix to the problem
with not being able to view/edit printers remotely on Windows 7 machines. But I think thier is another group policy on our domain that is causing this to not fix the issue. I haven't had any luck but a couple others have gotten this to work but once they reboot
that PC they can't view remote printers anymore. So to me this is saying there is a domain policy that is overriding the local policy. I don't do the policies but not being able to remotely view and edit users printers really slows down my workflow along with
the other PC Techs. Anyone have any ideas on what policies might be causing this issue?
