I downloaded windows 7 x64 Defender Off Line 3/9/2014 to a USB drive. After running it in Quick Scan it didn't find anything, trying to run it in Full scan will terminate at about half way through in Blue Screen.
Windows 7 x64 professional N was recently installed on a new SST hard drive. No other programs are installed other than Bit Defender, Quicken Deluxe, Adobe Reader, QuickTime player, Google Earth, HP solutions, Mozilla Thunderbird, Picasa 3 , MS office.
I was previously able to do the full scan with an older windows 7 x64 Defender Off Line on a CD. Also it would terminate in a Blue Screen at the first try but on a retry it would always finish.
Any help would be appreciated.
