I am using a tapi service provider add-on to integrate between windows applications and my phone system.
my problem is that in order to use external line we need to add 9 prefix to the number,doing so manually in the dialer works fine (same method works for outlook) but when trying to dial without adding the 9 the call fails.
I've tried adding the setting for outside call prefix in the dialing rules ,but in order for those settings to work the phone number must be in the canonical format which is impossible with some of my programs which are tapi compatible.
P.S entering a phone number in the dialer using the canonical format worked and the 9 prefix was added as required.
is there a way to force windows to add the 9 prefix regardless of what was entered ?
