I never worked with backup of windows , so I like to know some aspects of it what it can do.
now I have created some word documents on my windows vista ultimate (which has office 2007) and backed up this documents to an extern harddisk.
now I tried to restore this same documents to windows 7 home premium computer(which has office 2010) and when I try o restore it I gey this error message short names are not enabled on this volume(0X80070131).
is this backup program on vista is not compatible with backup program on windows 7 , so someone can not backup some documents and restore it on windows 7?(I know about copy and paste from one computer to other) I like just to know about this subject so I can tell other people .
