Does anyone know what would happen if you took a brand new Windows 7 Pro OS and after installing all critical updates and setting up all customizations, a person used EFS (Encrypting File System) and encrypted core system files? I've read about Windows File Protection (WFP) which prevents programs from replacing critical Windows system files, but this tool depends on the files sitting in a cache. So why not encrypt the system files as an alternative.
*In this scenario I'm only thinking of a single user who still has access to the internet.
