New to forums, but I'll try and provide as much details as I can for the error we are getting! Thanks for help in advance!
We have students who use Windows 7 PC's and login with there own roaming profile on the machine. For a month or so the login speed as dramatically gone slower, this happened to us once before and we re-built the machines about 6 months ago. Now it's your average slow, I'm talking about 1402 seconds - on average. This can be very distressing for users. What we have checked:
GP - all ok
DNS - all ok and disabled IPv6 on some test PC's - still no difference
Tried using a hotfix from Microsoft, which improved some PC's for a little bit but the logg out times were still way too long.
Checked loggs - All looks ok, it just shows how long it takes to log in and log out
Profile size is about 30 - 40 MB per user
Default profile is 1.3MB
I highly doubt this is a single profile or PC, as it's happenening to all users
Any ideas would be awesome! It would be a shame to keep re-imaging them
