I have a PC with two HDs
Disc 1 have two partitions, each with its own FULL INDEPEDENT Win7 installation (let's call them A and B installation). Actually A is hidded when B is boot and the other way around.
Disc 2 is a shared data disc, NTFS formated.
My problem is I cannot not see the files I save to the data drive from the other Win7 installation.
Let's say I save a file from installation A to the data drive. When I boot up installation B I cannot see that file.
I have tried to scan & repair the D: drive from both A & B and they both find errors and fix them. But as soon I boot into the other installation scan & repair find errors again.
I thought information about files, folders etc. on drive D: was saved ON DRIVE D:! Maybe in a Master File Table (not expert in NTFS).
But it seem these two installations don't share MFT (or whatever Win7/NTFS is using for storing these file system infos).
Any explanations/solutions??
