winsxs folder clean up really works?

Hi,

I've seen in many blogs and forums (and those in this technet forums) talking about the news that it is now possible to clean up the big winsxs folder in Win7 SP1 with "Disk Cleanup" function from drive properties dialog.

I have done the operation on several Win7 SP1 computers, but the winsxs is always very big (more than 8GB).  Does the "winsxs clean up" method really works?
