We have a problem where the last modified date on the folders is older than that of the files and folders within it. These folders are where a backup is being stored to, and it is quite difficult to tell if the backup is happening properly if you have to dig down a few levels just to make sure there are new or updated folders.
Example:
A folder's last modified date is Jan 2, 2014. The folder's content goes Jan20,2014; Jan17,2014; Jan16,2014... these are folders which are all dated properly according to their contents.
Other Info:
Windows 7 Professional with latest updates, Carbonite online backup, Malewarebytes full version
Restarts do not fix the problem
The backup method I am using is a batch file using Robocopy. Here is the script:robocopy D: "\\ts-xl925\Eding\FilesBackup" /mir /r:1 /w:1 /zb /MT /v /DCOPY:T
I don't see how this could cause it, explorer should have the last modified date for the folder be the same as the most recently modified file inside it.
