I have a client whos Optiplex 780 has lost use of USB Devices including the mouse and keyboard. They both work in BIOS so I know it's a software issue. I have run many scanners on this that I use to clean viruses and have found nothing. I've booted into safemode and still don't have mouse and keyboard. I can remote into it and can control the mouse/keyboard. So something has this system messed up.
I'm running out of ideas on this one. Any thoughts?
