I had my computer reformatted recently by a small local PC repair shop. The owner also re-installed windows 7 - he used his own disk. I find now that there is a repaint problem. If I start Outlook, and view some emails, and then close Outlook, It looks like Outlook is still there. The desktop does not repaint over it.
The computer is also slower than it should be.
I did a virus scan (I have Norton 360) and I even downloaded a boot disk of Windows-Defender and scanned with that. I right-clicked on my C: drive and did a file system check (though I did not check for bad sectors).
More than half of my hard-drive is free space.
Its possible that I downloaded a virus anyway, and the virus somehow bypasses all these checks. Or its possible that the owner of the local store was not honest. But is there any other possibilities, and what should I do next?
