Hello,
i tried to install the U8300 Gigabyte TV-Tuner (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3494#dl) but i failed. My system is a Sony Vaio VPCF1 with
Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium installed.
When i plugin the device windows automatically installs the drivers as "eHome Infrared Receiver (USBCIR), so when i start the producer's application (software and drivers) it informs me that no device is connected...I also tried to update the drivers with those
on the device's CD but Windows informs me: "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date". Lastly i tried to install it as a new hardware device (so to overcome the problem) but windows couldn't find the U8300 device (message: "Searching
for devices ...Make sure your device is discoverable".
I know that the problem has to do with win 7 64 bit because the device is working perfectly on my older vaio (with win 7 32bit).
What i have to do?
