Ending a file name with two periods

Hi everyone, I have found that ending a file name with two periods on the desktop make the file disappeared, and click refresh, it comes out again and the two periods disappeared. Then I have created a file named "test..". It acts as above. But then I created another file called "test..", it didn't disappear.

When I try to delete it to the recycling bin, it says can't find the file, when I try to rename it, its the same. When I use shift+delete, nothing happened and the file still stay here. When I use the build-in administrator account or use the Windows Explorer with administrator identity or backup or command prompt or even XP Mode to delete it, its the same.

Then I added numerous file in it and try to delete it, it says 0x80070003.

How can I delete that weird file??? Please tell me... Thanks.

more information: in the file properties, it has the "opens with" property and it is Windows Shell Common DLL. When I try to add a file in it, it shows the UAC icon but the UAC doesn't pop up (surely I have turned on UAC).
