Remote Assist Issues after Video Card Upgrade

We have multiple (roughly a dozen) Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machines that we are no longer able to successfully use Remote Assistance with after a video card & screen upgrade. The connection is successful and the user is able to accept the remote assist request after offering it, but once the remote assistance session starts all five screen start flashing (turn black, then briefly display the desktop again, over and over) and nothing is seen on the side offering assistance -- just a black screen. All drivers are up to date and I don't see any windows updates that need to be installed. Any idea what could be going on here? I don't see any errors or relevant warnings in the event viewer on the remote PC. The video card (if its helpful) is the AMD FirePro W600 and all Monitors are Dell 27" displays. Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone might be able to offer.
