Can't alter properties for bookmarks - 'An error has occurred when writing the property...'

When I attempt to modify the properties of a bookmark (rate it, add a description, etc), I get the message 'An error has occurred when writing the property...'  This has been reported on other forums.  Does anyone know of a fix for this?  I know it was a bug in the RC, and it looks like it carried over to the RTM.

Any help will be most appreciated.
